Canterbury Park Partners With North American Poker Tour

Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Casino in Shakopee, Minn. has partnered with the North America Poker Tour and PokerStars to host four poker tournaments that will qualify winners for NAPT main events in various cities.

The first of four no-limit hold’em super-satellite tournaments will be held Thursday, Oct. 21. The winner will receive a $7,000 prize package that includes entry to the NAPT main event at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, held Nov. 12–17. Dates for the three additional tournaments will be announced soon.

Canterbury Park in suburban Minneapolis offers poker and table games day and night in its newly remodeled Card Casino. It also hosts parimutuel wagering on live thoroughbred racing during the summer season and simulcast wagering daily.
