PokerStars Announces UK & Ireland Poker Tour Season IIUKIPT Season II Begins in Galway with €250,000 Guaranteed |

PokerStars.com has announced the return of its UK & Ireland Poker Tour and it’s jumping straight back into the thick of it with the UKIPT Galway in December.
The €1,000 + €100 buy-in main event takes place over four days, from Dec. 2-5 at the Radisson Hotel and is part of the Irish Poker Championship. The first leg of the second season of the Tour will see a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 and a cap of 400.
Satellites are now running at PokerStars and players can qualify daily for free, or buy in to satellites from as little as €5.50. PokerStars is guaranteeing seven packages every week, and this includes a seat, accommodation, and expenses.

The UKIPT Grand Final in season I took place during the EPT London in the Hilton Metropole, and was won by the EPT’s newly crowned champion David Vamplew. Vamplew now has a seat in every stop of season II. Previous to the Grand Final was the UKIPT Dublin, which saw 20-year-old Londoner Max Silver walking away with the €72,000 top prize.
