The World Poker Tour returned to France yesterday for the second time this year.
Amneville in the north-east of the country is hosting the event after Paris held its renewal earlier this year.
Day 1A saw either 260 or 270 players (reports are conflicting) take to the felt in the €3,200 + €300 buy in main event at the Seven Casino including Nicolas Levi, Jake Cody, and Arnaud Mattern.
While reports from the event have yet to indicate how many players finished the day (there were 179 players left at midnight but play continued for two hours after this) they do confirm that day 1B will see some of France’s biggest names take part including Bertrand Grospellier, Ludovic Lacay, and Antony Lellouche.
