The latest issue highlights the best of the 2010 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker. With 62 bracelet events in seven different games and dozens of variations, the WCOOP series offered some serious money. Of course, no event was bigger than the $5,000 main event. A field of 2,443 players created a whopping prize pool of $12,215,000. The winner of the two-day event was Tyson “POTTERPOKER” Marks, taking home $2.2 million.

Marks discusses his run toward winning the largest online poker tournament in history.

“It’s been really overwhelming and kind of hard to deal with, to be honest… I’m on cloud nine right now, and I don’t know when I’m coming down.”

The WCOOP main event was full of impressive performances.Marks shares what his mindset was with the tournament winding down, and how such a significant addition to his bankroll has changed his poker future.

“I’ve been playing full time for the past couple of years now, and have been traveling the circuit from time to time, but now I can play on my own terms I can play when I want to, not because I have to.”

The latest issue also looks at James ‘Andy McLEOD’ Obst’s and his efforts that earned him the Player of the Series honor, and how Ryan D’Angelo won his record third bracelet.
