New Euro Events Added to 2011 World Poker Tour ScheduleWPT Heads to Venice and Vienna in 2011; First WPT National Series Event Added |

Two European televised tournaments have been added to the World Poker Tour schedule for 2011, as well as the first WPT National Series event.
WPT Venice will take place at the Casino de Venezia from Feb. 3-9 featuring a €3000 + €300 buy-in main event (Feb. 3-8) and a €10,000 High Roller event (7-9).
WPT Vienna takes place in Montesino from Mar. 25-30 and will feature a €3,200 + €300 main event (25-29) and a €15,000 High Roller tournament (28-30).
The WPT National Series, the Aviation Club de France’s EFOP Diamond Championship kicks off in Paris on Feb. 9 with a €5,000 main event running until Feb. 15, plus there is a three-day €10,000 High Roller event beginning on Feb. 14.
WPT President, Adam Pliska, said, “The World Poker Tour is excited to announce these new dates in Europe. We are looking forward to returning to Venice, debuting our WPT National Series and High Rollers event in Paris and taking the Tour to Vienna for the very first time. The future is exciting and these international events give players even more chances to compete on poker’s premiere stage.”
