The Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series (MiniFTOPS) is back to give players with more modest bankrolls a chance at poker glory.
MiniFTOPS XVIII kicks off tonight with the first of 34 events. The schedule features the same events as the normal FTOPS, but all of the buy-ins are at about one-tenth the price.
Even with the small buy-ins, the site has guaranteed $6 million in prize money.
The 11-day series will feature the MiniFTOPS two-day event ($200+$16 buy-in with a $600,000 guarantee), the MiniFTOPS main event ($70+$5 buy-in with a $1-million guarantee), and seven Rush Poker tournaments (including a $10+$1 no-limit hold’em Rush Rebuy event with a $300,000 guarantee).
Whoever finishes first on the MiniFTOPS leaderboard will receive a special prize package, which includes entries to all FTOPS XIX events (except the two-day event). All together, the prize package is worth about $10,000 in tournament entries.
