Looking for a few tasty poker hands to check out as the new year approaches? How about 25?
PokerGO recently released a highlight video showcasing the streaming service’s top bluffs, hero calls, and biggest pots of 2024. This includes hands from PokerGO tournament events, high-stakes cash game shows, and more.
The compilation kicks off with action from January when Kristen Foxen faced off against fellow Canadian Daniel Negreanu for the title in the PokerGO Tour Kickoff Series. Negreanu got creative with 3 2 on a board of 9 9 3 K K.
Foxen had bluffed with 8 7, but Negreanu turned his counterfeited pair into a bluff of his own for his entire stack, despite having little fold equity. That brought an immediate fold from Foxen and Negreanu raked in the massive pot.
Another interesting hand came from the World Series of Poker and featured Erik Seidel taking a brutal beat after he and Saami Bechahed both turned a flush. Seidel held the bigger flush, but the river brought a miracle straight flush for Bechahed. The unbelievable one-outer sent Seidel to the rail on the bubble.
An interesting hand occurred during an episode of No Gamble, No Future and saw Alan Keating drag a pot of more than $230,000 after spiking trips on the river against the pocket jacks of Humboldt Mike.
The _ Millionaire Maker_ also stood out at the WSOP for one of the most dramatic hands of the year. Justin Carey was all in with pocket deuces against Franco Spitale’s Ac 10s. The winner would take home the title and collect a gold bracelet.
The flop brought the 10 5 2 and Carey looked to be in great shape with a set. He had a 97% chance to double up and take the pot. But the turn brought the A, reducing that percentage to 91%.
Spitale would need one of the two remaining aces or 10 to take down the pot. The unlikely Ad fell on the river and Spitale pumped his fists and dropped to his knees in celebration. He collected almost $1.3 million and his first WSOP bracelet.
What hand was declared the top hand of 2024? Watch below to find out.
