Irish Open 2011 Schedule Features Events for All Types of Players

PaddyPowerPoker.com has announced the full schedule for the Irish Open 2011 including a wide range of side events for all types of players. The festival kicks off on Apr. 21 and runs until Apr. 25 at the Burlington Hotel.

The schedule features events such as a €750 + €75 pot-limit Omaha Championship, a €1,000 + €100 no-limit hold’em freezeout, a €300 + €30 Ladies NLH Championship, and plenty more (see below).

Paddy Power, Communications Manager for the site, said, “The Irish Open schedule has grown year on year and 2011 is no different. We have added two new Turbo events this year, bringing the total number of tournaments to 8 within the 5 day poker festival. Wallets are tighter than ever so we are offering a few lower buy in tournaments to the Irish Open schedule so that everyone can get involved and enjoy the electric atmosphere that is unique to the Irish Open.”

5 p.m. €750 + €75 PLO Championship

April 24 at 2 p.m. Day 3 of Irish Open Main Event

3 p.m. €300 + €30 Ladies Championship

The €3,200 + €300 Irish Open main event will run for four days starting on Apr. 22. To get there, players can take part in a €200 + €20 no-limit hold’em rebuy super satellite on the eve of day 1. However, before this, qualifiers are running at PaddyPowerPoker every Sunday and Tuesday with lots of cheap daily feeders. Players who qualify for the Irish Open at the site will be part of the €100,000 Sole Survivor competition also.

Players can also register and pay for all events via the online payment system at irishpokeropen.com/register. Due to the popularity of the festival, it is suggested that players register early to guarantee their seat.
