Hand of the Day:

Melanie Weisner Makes a Sweet Play

There was a board that read 7Heart Suit 4Heart Suit 3Heart Suit 10Club Suit sitting on the table along with a pot worth 30,000 when Melanie Weisner slid out 13,575 in chips for a reraise and then the original raiser made the call.

The river fell 4Diamond Suit and the hijack checked. Weisner bet 20,800 and her opponent went into the tank. He must have been puzzled by the 12,000 she left behind, because he eventually mucked. Weisner then flipped over ADiamond Suit 6Club Suit as she collected the pot and grew her stack to 90,000.
