The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino of Tampa, Florida, has opened a new 10,000-square-foot Poker Room and will hold a series of special events from Dec. 21-24 to celebrate its debut.
The new Poker Room will include a high limit area, a service bar and a multi-station cashier stand. The room will contain new Hard Rock memorabilia, several 60-inch televisions and an outdoor smoking area.
Special events and giveaways will take place next week, including:
Tuesday, December 21, 10 a.m. to midnight — Poker players will get a free spinner upon check-in into to a cash game or tournament.
Wednesday, December 22, all day — Poker players will receive a free t-shirt upon check-in into to a cash game or tournament. Also, a Christmas party featuring Cowhead from 102.5 The Bone will start at 3 p.m. in Hard Rock Cafe, followed by a $535 single table tournament at 9 p.m. in the Poker Room.
Friday, December 24 10 a.m. — Players who qualified during November will play a $100,000 freeroll tournament.
The 8,000-square-foot space that was the previous poker room will be turned into a space for 364 additional slot machines, including the Wizard of Oz, Wheel of Fortune, Sex and the City and Courgarlicious series. These will increase the total number of slots on the property to 4,100.
