Leo Margets now adds €100,000 to her lifetime poker winnings plus the title of Spanish Poker Champion after she trampled upon the field of the Full Tilt Poker Masters Series held at Gran Casino Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar.

Her final opponent was Card Player Italy’s director Massimiliano Luppi who she beat after a two-hour heads up.

The Full Tilt Poker Master Series was a three-day live event, which was organised to find the most well-rounded player in Spain. Of the 32, half the field were the top players from the Full Tilt Poker Series – España and the other half were Full Tilt qualifiers.

In order to find the most complete poker player in Spain, each day saw players compete in a different format. On day 1 (Dec. 15) there was a deep-stack event, on day 2 there was a shootout tournament, and on day 3 there was a turbo tournament and a heads-up event.

Points were awarded based on finishing position in each format and this halved the field going into day 3. Then on day 3, points awarded in the turbo tournament were added to point totals from the previous days, and the top eight went through to the heads-up round where the winner was eventually found.
