Tony G to Face Isildur1 in SuperStar ShowdownSunday Battle will Feature Multitabling $50-$100 |

On Sunday Jan. 2, Team PokerStars Pro Isiludr1 will face off against Antanas “Tony G” Guoga in the second installment of the PokerStars SuperStar Showdown.
The game will be half no-limit hold’em and half pot-limit Omaha, at stakes of $50-$100. Both players have $150,000 in escrow for the match.
Although Isildur1 lost in his first match versus Isaac “philivey2694” Haxton, the mysterious Swede has been on fire on the tables this week, winning more than $300,000 against various opponents.
The battle on Sunday should be intense and fierce with trash talk. Guoga is known for his aggressive needling at the poker table, and Isiludr1 had strong words for Haxton after his first SuperStar Showdown match. Isiludr1 called Haxton a “weak player,” and said he “would beat him easily” in a rematch.
The SuperStar Showdown is a heads-up match consisting of a single session of 2,500 hands. The match is played across four tables of no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, at stakes no lower than $50-$100. The winner is the player that shows either a profit after 2,500 hands or wins all of their opponent’s match bankroll.
