The numbers are in and for the seventh consecutive year, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event has grown in field size. A total of 1,560 players made their way to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas for the annual event, breaking the record set in 2010 when 1,529 entered.
The first ever PCA took place in 2004, when 221 players bought in, creating a total prize pool of $1,657,500. This year, the second-place finisher alone will earn more than that figure, taking home $1.8 million. The winner will leave Paradise Island with $2.3 million.
