PKR.com has announced its satellite schedule for the Asian Poker Tour Philippines (APT) 2011, which runs from Mar. 30 to Apr. 3.
Every second Monday, from Jan. 17, there will be packages worth up to $5,000 on offer in $200 + $15 buy-in final-stage qualifiers. Players can buy in to the final directly or get there for pretty cheap by playing in the three qualifiying stages previous to this. Daily satellites will run for as little as $2.28 (stage 1).
Erika Schwartz Poole, Marketing Manager for the site, said, “Good luck to all those who play in the satellites. The APT Philippines is a fantastic tournament in an amazing location and we hope this year’s qualifiers can bring home the title for the second time!”
In 2009, Adrien ‘Zlatan35’ Allain qualified for the Asian Poker Tour Macau main event via a $6 satellite on PKR and ended up walking away with the title and a little over $391,000.
The Frenchman joined the site as a member of Team PKR Pro shortly after.
