Chris MoormanDay 3 has come to a close and there are just 18 players remaining in the 2011 Aussie Millions main event at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. Chris Moorman and Mark Vos are at the top of the leader board with 1,643,000 and 1.2 million respectively.

Today was another brisk day of play here in the event with the initial 76 taking their seats at the beginning of the day. The money bubble burst soon after play began, and both Eugene Katchalov and Van Marcus made their exits empty-handed. After that it was a relatively quick march down to the final three six-handed tables.

Day 4 will begin tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. local time and the final 18 will play down to the final table of seven in this event. We will focus our attention back on the main event for day 4, shifting back from the $250,000 super high roller event, which had Studio 3 filled with some of the biggest names of poker yesterday. Stay tuned for live updates, chip counts, photos, and videos from CardPlayer TV.
