Blom was in the upper reaches of the leader board at start of play, and two levels later, he was putting his coat on.

Taking a hit with pocket aces versus pocket fives (which made a set), the online wizard then was moved to a new table and just over an hour later he was gone.

His final hand came when he was down to 28,700 and three-bet all in after a raise from Cyril Hanouna. Hanouna eventually called with ASpade Suit 10Diamond Suit and Blom flipped over 6Diamond Suit 6Spade Suit. The board dramatically fell 7Diamond Suit 5Diamond Suit 4Diamond Suit KDiamond Suit 4Club Suit and Hanouna flushed Blom out of the event.

While some made movements down and out, others were quickly chipping up. Matthew Franklin, who busted Daniel Negreanu on day 1B and James Mitchell on day 2 soared higher and higher throughout the day, as did Frenchman Fabrice Soulier.

Other familiar names making their way up the leader board were Praz Bansi, Bertrand Grospellier, and Irishman Thomas Finneran.

The player with the most chips by end of play however was Swedish PokerStars qualifier David Sonelin with 438,900. He is closely followed by Soulier with 390,700.
