The World Poker Tour returns to European shores today with a €3,000 + €300 buy in main event getting underway at Casino Di Venezia, Venice, Italy.
The five-day event, with two day ones, will be filmed for later TV broadcast and sees players hit the felt with a 30,000 starting stack and 75 minute blinds.
The final table takes place on Tuesday February 8. Last year the event was won by Sven Ragnar Astrom who took down just shy of €400,000.
The main event is followed by a High Rollers event which starts next Monday February 7 running to February 9. Players start with 30,000 in chips and have a 90 minute clock for this game.
