Filipino Poker Tournaments Set To Spread Across Austria

The poker world has witnessed ladies-only events and seniors events – tournaments specifically based on gender and age respectively.

According to news site ABS-CBN, over 100 poker players turned out for Vienna’s first Filipino Poker Challenge on Jan. 30 in the Concorde Card Casino.

An Asian national with Filipino background, Fu Nguyen, topped the field to win the top prize of €4,000. But it doesn’t stop there. The manager of the casino is reported to have said that the company is ready to hit the rest of Austria with its Filipino poker tournaments.
