CardRunners was founded in 2005 by Taylor “Green Plastic” Caby and Andrew “muddywaters” Wiggins while they were attending the University of Illinois. The pair of high-stakes cash game players have always had a desire to share their knowledge of the game, and thus in six short years their training site has grown from just a handful of videos to publishing about 40 videos per month.
The site’s stable of pros has also expanded to include some of the online world’s most feared players, such as Brian Hastings, David Benefield, Andreas ‘Skjervøy’ Torbergsen, and Ryan “Daut44” Daut who recently chopped the PokerStars Sunday Million.
In this week’s hour-long video, CardRunners instructor “JBaller88” discusses strategy and his thought process while four-tabling $1-$2 no-limit hold’em on Full Tilt Poker. The concepts in this informative and highly-rated video include equity, continuation betting, three-betting, double barreling, and ranges.
According to the training site: “JBaller88 built his poker foundation through CardRunners and live games, eventually finding his niche in the six-max cash games. Citing tilt-control and bankroll management as cornerstones to his success, he’s surpassed more than $100,000 in winnings, most of it from 9-12 tabling 200NL on Full Tilt Poker.”
