Scott Clements Wins FTOPS $10K Heads Up

Alessio Isaia Finishes Second

Scott ClementsOn Sunday, Full Tilt Pro Scott Clements won FTOPS event no. 19 ($10,000 no-limit hold’em heads up) after remaining undefeated through an elite field of 128 players.

Clements banked nearly $300,000 after a deal at the final match. Italian and fellow Full Tilt Pro Alessio Isaia, who is fresh off a win at the World Poker Tour Venice, scored a massive $285,500 for the runner-up finish.

Clements’ win, which was the largest online score of his career, brings his career earnings to more than $5 million.

Other notable winners so far in the series include David “OSUTexan” Walker, Mike “SirWatts” Watson, Sam “miserd00d” Stein, Marius “DevilTruck” Olsvik, Alex “AD_84” Debus, and Nick “Grippolio” Grippo who is currently in first place on the FTOPS XIX leader board.

The winner of the leader board competition will receive a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize package which includes entry to every FTOPS XX event (except the two-day and $10,000 heads-up events). The prize package is expected to be worth about $14,000 in tournament entries.

The series continues Monday with three more events: $200+$16 shorthanded pot-limit hold’em and Omaha, $200+$16 no-limit hold’em Rush turbo (hosted by Clements), and $1,000+$60 no-limit hold’em multi-entry.
