WSOP Circuit Caesars Atlantic City Preview

$1,650 Main Event Highlights the Schedule

Roland Isra won the WSOPC Caesars Atlantic City Main Event in 2010.The World Series of Poker Circuit will roll into Caesars Atlantic City on Wednesday, just a day after concluding the Circuit main event at the Palm Beach Kennel Club in Florida.

The schedule at Caesars Atlantic City runs March 2-13, with nine ring events in hold’em and one in limit Omaha. Several satellite and second chance tournaments will be held, as well as both seniors and ladies events.

Buy-ins for ring events start as low as $350 and max out with the 3-day $1,650 no-limit hold’em main event starting on March 11.

Last year’s main event had a larger buy-in of $5,150. With 174 entries, the prize pool soared to $817,015. New York’s Roland Isra took home the top prize worth $264,715 and a gold ring. The top 18 players were paid, including Nick Binger (17th place), Jacobo Fernandez (14th place), and Paul Wasicka (12th place).

The next scheduled WSOPC series is the Regional Championship at Harrah’s Rincon (San Diego) Casino & Resort from March 10-30.
