Online poker coaching site CardRunners and online poker guide PokerListings.com have announced an exclusive 10-part strategy series launched this week.
Ten elite Cardrunners coaches will be tackling 10 unique poker strategy topics as suggested by readers of PokerListings.com.
By letting the coaches pick which topic they want to write about, the project seeks to blend real-life experience with usable poker strategy advice.
“It’s tough to find a poker strategy topic that hasn’t been written to death,” said PokerListings.com Editor-in-Chief Matt Showell. “By letting these coaches approach the topics in terms of their real-life experiences, we’re hoping to create a more authentic and rich strategy series for our readers.”
Topics include tips on how to responsibly manage your poker earnings, action-fueled home-game variants and tournament fundamentals that are often overlooked.
Providing strategy on a few oft-neglected games is also on the agenda, something Mike “Predator006” Six, a CardRunners coach featured in the project, is especially excited about.
“The games I focus on have very limited information available,” Six pointed out. “My main goal is to grow the communities so the games I love and thrive at never dry up.”
The 10-part series will be running weekly in the PokerListings poker strategy section beginning February 21, 2011.
