The second flight of the first round at the $10,000 Bounty Shootout at the Big Event at The Bicycle Casino is now in the books.
On day 1a, Jonathan Duhamel, Alex Keating, Pat Walsh and Shane Schleger emerged from the 36 hopefuls to lock up a seat at the final table. Joining them on Friday were John Smith, Joe Tehan, Matt Woodward, Ali Eslami and recent Big Event main event winner Victor Ramdin.
Ramdin, Smith and Duhamel will all share the bounty lead entering the final table with four knockouts a piece. Shawn Buchanan and Sameer Al Janedi were able to claim five bounties each, but were not able to advance past the first round.
The final nine will resume play at 2:00 p.m. PST and continue until a champion is crowned. Each elimination will be worth $10,000, but the last man standing will take home a winner-take-all prize of $171,000.
