The PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest stop begins on Sunday, Mar. 20 at 2 p.m. local time in the ski resort town of Saalbach/Hinterglemm in the Austrian Alps. The best professionals in the poker world will also have a chance to hit the slopes and ski or snowboard at this unique tournament. Last season Allan Baekke topped a field of 546 players to take home the top prize worth $608,426.
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips in the no-limit hold’em main event and blinds begin at 50-100. Levels will be 60 minutes long on day 1 and then they will increase to 75 minutes in length thereafter. The final table will crown a champion on Friday, Mar. 25.
