The PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest stop begins on Sunday, Mar. 20 at 2 p.m. local time in the ski resort town of Saalbach/Hinterglemm in the Austrian Alps. The best professionals in the poker world will also have a chance to hit the slopes and ski or snowboard at this unique tournament. Last season Allan Baekke topped a field of 546 players to take home the top prize worth $608,426.
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips in the no-limit hold’em main event and blinds begin at 50-100. Levels will be 60 minutes long on day 1 and then they will increase to 75 minutes in length thereafter. The final table will crown a champion on Friday, Mar. 25. You can follow along with all of the action from EPT Snowfest on the PokerStars blog feed daily during the tournament, and you can watch everything from the final two days of the event on the EPT Live video feed.
