The European Masters of Poker Lisbon was taken down by Jukka Koskela after he beat Asger Boye heads up. The Finn received €72,615 for his victory over the 309-strong field, while Boye had to settle for €43,569.
The final hand came when Koskela bet 200,000 and Boye made it 475,000 in total. Koskela moved all in and Boye made the call. Koskela turned over Q Q while Boye tabled 10 10. Koskela stayed ahead to wrap the event up and take the title home.

Koskela is the third Finn to take down an EMOP with Matias Knaapinen’s success in Barcelona in season II and Johanna Pyysing’s victory in Estonia in 2009.
Last year in Lisbon, it was Englishman Timothy Timotheau who beat 393 players to the €86,680 top prize.
