O’Neill’s victory over 123 opponents to take down the €32,510 top prize at Clontarf Castle may well be the last in EMOP history as International Game Technology shuts the Entraction network which ran the tour.

O’Neill was the final table chip leader at the start of play while his heads up challenger, Patrik Chahmiran was second in chips.

However it was an aggressive O’Neill working 1.95 million in chips to Chahmiran’s 0.5 million who proved the stronger and despite a spirited comeback by the Frenchman in the end it was A-Q’s domination of A-J which won the title for O’Neill.

The final table payouts were:
1st – Padraig O Neill – €32,510
2nd – Patrik Chahmiran – €19,700
3rd – Andrei Kravchuk – €13,200
4th – Daragh Davey – €9,300
5th – Rasmus Adjers – €8,100
6th – Ian Byrne – €6,800
7th – Hugo Felix – €5,600
8th – Lukas Bubilek – €4,400
