The PokerStars Russian Poker Series Kiev main event kicks off this Wednesday, Mar. 30, at 1 p.m. (local time) at the Khreschatyk Club, Kiev, Ukraine.
Players will sit down to starting stacks of 30,000 and 60-minute blinds with the blinds increasing to 75 minutes on Thursday from level 12.
The buy-in is $2,750 + $250 but there are live satellites leading up to the main event including one taking place earlier on day 1. The final table will play out on Saturday.
The Kiev installment finishes up on Sunday, and aside from the main event, there are plenty of side events running throughout. The last time the Series pulled into Kiev it was Kirill Telezkin who topped a field of 278 to take home the top prize of $171,350.
