European Poker Tour Berlin Begins Tuesday

2010 EPT Berlin Champion Kevin MacPheeThe PokerStars European Poker Tour Berlin stop begins on Tuesday, April 5 at noon local time in the capital city of Germany. This is the second year for this tournament stop and the first edition was wildly popular with 945 players in attendance and a total prize pool worth $6,436,080. Last season Kevin MacPhee topped the large field to take home the top prize worth $1,362,264.

Players will begin with 30,000 in chips in the no-limit hold’em main event and blinds begin at 50-100. Levels will be 60 minutes long on day 1 and then they will increase to 75 minutes in length thereafter. The final table will crown a champion on Sunday, Apr. 10.
