The Venetian to Host $500,000 FreerollTo Qualify, Players Must Play a Total of 200 Hours by July 31 |

The Venetian Poker Room, located at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, announced it will hold a $500,000 freeroll in August and there's still time to qualify.
To get into the freeroll, players had to accumulated 50 hours of rated poker play in each of May, June and July. But players can also qualify by accumulating 200 hours of play by July 31.
The tournament will be held Aug. 11, 12 and 13. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 200 poker players in the tournament. Players need a Player's Card to participate and track the hours.
It was incorrectly reported in Card Player Magazine that players could qualify by accumulating 50 hours of rated poker play in July. Players need to have 200 or more hours of rated poker play in order to get in.
