The Small Town Poker Tour kicks off round one of its 2006 STPT Amateur Championships July 29, at the Atrium Hotel in Monroe, La. The host charity is the Monroe Lions Club and money raised will go to the Uniformed Law Officers of Ouachita Parish Louisiana.
The event costs $60 to play, and the prize pool will be worth more than $10,000. The winner receives a $3,000 Visa gift card and a seat at the STPT World Amateur Championship that will be held in Las Vegas.
