A host of big European poker stars have made the cut for Annie Duke and Jeffrey Pollack’s new Federated Poker League.
Of the 218 players making the list 27 win five-year cards, 55 receive three-year cards and 136 get two-year cards and European players account for almost 20 percent of the those invited to take their seat at the table for the new venture.
These include such recognisable names as James Akenhead, Patrik Antonius, Praz Bansi, David Benyamine, Salvatore Bonavena, Neil Channing, Roland De Wolfe, Peter Eastgate, Ivan Demidov, Bertrand Grospellier, Tony G, Gus Hansen, Alessio Isaia, Peter Jetten, Theo Jorgensen, John Kabbaj, Eugene Katchalov, Andreas Krause, Alexander Kravchenko, Valdemar Kwaysser, Ludovic Lacay, Florian Langmann, Antony Lellouche, Vitaly Lunkin, Dario Minieri, Annette Obrestad, Luca Pagano, Max Pescatori, Roberto Romanello, Marty Smyth, Fabrice Soulier, Johan Stroakers, Surinder Sunar, Mark Teltscher, Julian Thew, William Thorsson, Sam Trickett, Dave Ulliott, and Ville Wahlbeck.
The five-event League takes place at Palms Casino Resort and gets underway in August 2011 running until January 2010. Buy ins are $20,000 and are rake free.
