Padraig Parkinson Teams Up With Pacific Poker for WSOP

Pacific Poker has teamed up with poker professional Padraig Parkinson to bring players the news as it happens at this year's World Series of Poker. Parkinson will be writing two weekly blogs straight from the Rio Casino in Las Vegas, keeping Pacific Poker players up to date on who is leading this year's WSOP events.

Named Ireland's most talented big-occasion player, Parkinson will also lead a two-day poker boot camp for Pacific Poker's European Women's Poker Team. The team will take part in the 2006 World Series of Poker Ladies Event on July 9. Parkinson will meet them in Las Vegas on July 6 to get them in shape for the event.

Padraig's style of play and outgoing personality have won him many admirers around the world and many regard him as Ireland's best hope for the WSOP main event. His poker achievements include a third at WSOP 1999, where he walked away with $472,000, a European championship, a win on Late Night Poker, multiple Irish Championships and four cashes in World Poker Tour main events.
