Caesars Palace Las VegasThe World Series of Poker Circuit National Championship will begin at noon on Friday, May 27 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. There are 100 players who have qualified for the invitation-only event during the course of the 2010-11 WSOP Circuit season, in which 20,000 players participated.

You can check out the list of those 100 players below. The qualifiers include the winners of each $1,500 main event, the final-table contestants from each of the four WSOP Circuit $10,000 Regional Championship, and the casino champion for each of the 15 tournament series on the tour. The automatic qualifiers account for 63 spots in the 100, while the other at-large bids went to the top 37 players on the WSOP Circuit National Championship leader board. Players earned points by cashing at various events during the Circuit season.

There was an 18-way tie for the final three spots in the tournament so the tie-breaker came down to the amount of cash won by the players involved in the tie. The top three were Stephen Kats ($43,522), David Paredes ($39,346), and Dan Perper ($39,346). Notables who missed the cut included Eugene Katchalov, David “Bakes” Baker, Victor Ramdin, and Beth Shak.

Players will begin with 20,000 in chips and blinds will be 50-100 for the first 60-minute level on Friday. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels. The top 10 finishers in the tournament will walk away with a portion of the $1 million prize pool. The tournament will be filmed for television production by the Versus network.

Here is a look at the schedule for the tournament:

Friday, May 27: Day 1 (play eight levels)
Saturday, May 28: Day 2 (play down to final nine players)
Sunday, May 29: Final Table

Card Player will provide daily reports from Caesars Palace this weekend and you can catch a full recap of the final table when the event concludes on Sunday, May 29.
