Tax And Customs Office Raids Budapest Poker Club

The Miami Poker Club in Budapest, Hungary has been raided for the second time in six months.

The National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) raided the shopping mall-based club on Friday and found 40 tables in action. The seized the tables, chips and other evidence according to caboodle.hu.

Last November the club, which is the largest in Hungary, was fined Ft10 million (€37,300) for being in violation of Hungarian law but it reopened again soon afterwards.

Poker in Hungary is very strictly regulated.
