The PokerStars.com UK & Ireland Poker Tour rolls into the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, England today with two events and a super satellite ahead of tomorrow’s £500 + £60 main event.
The two-day 1 main event is expected to attract up to 400 players and has a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The main event will continue until Sunday but a a host of side events will support the main show including daily £50 buy in no-limit hold’em turbo events and several no-limit hold’em freezeout’s up to £300.
Last year the UKIPT Brighton main event had a £1,000 buy in and attracted 259 runners. It was won by young UK pro Jamie Burland who took down £65,000 for his victory.
