Pizza Delivery Man Wins Greek Poker Cup II

Online Qualifier Beats 270 Players To Lift €68,850

Christos DikosWhile Greece currently has many problems one person who is probably worry free this week is pizza delivery man Christos Dikos who took down last weekend’s PokerStars.com Greek Poker Cup for €68,850 at Club Hotel Casino Loutraki.

The 39-year-old, who qualified online for the tournament, beat 269 opponents in the €1,100 buy in game which generated a total prize pool of €270,000.

Among those qho qualified were well-know Greek pros Giorgos ‘gkap13’ Kapalas, Alexis ‘Johnny Dr@ma’ Zervos and Stavros ‘IDOLLS’ Kalfa.

Thirty-three players got paid in this event not including famous Greek actor Giannis Tsimitselis.

Full payouts were not available in English for this event.

The first Greek Poker Cup – indeed the first major poker tournament ever held in Greece – held in March was won by Georgios Grigoropolus who took home €69,100 in March.
