BellagioThe Bellagio Cup VII is now underway at Bellagio in Las Vegas. Registration for the $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event is open until approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, July 15 so players still have a chance to get in on the action. Registration will close when level nine in the tournament begins. There are currently 162 players who have entered in the tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for six days and a winner will be crowned at the final table on Tuesday, July 19. There will also be a $5,000 no-limit hold’em tournament that will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18.

Players begin with 40,000 in the main event and blinds began at 50-100 (You can check out the full blind structure below). Levels will be 90 minutes long and there will be a 15-minute break after each level. The tournament winner will also receive a seat in the 2012 $25,000 WPT Championship, which will take place late next spring at Bellagio.

This marks the seventh year for the Bellagio tournament series. Last year the main event attracted 353 players as a stop on the World Poker Tour schedule for Season IX. Moritz Kranich won the tournament and the top prize of $875,150. The tournament has been featured on the WPT schedule four times, but it is not featured on the Season X schedule.
