World Series of Poker Main Event: Day 4

Lars Bonding Sixth in Chips with 1.8 Million

Lars BondingDay 4 of the 2011 World Series of Poker $10,000 no-limit hold’em championship is in the books and from the 852 players who took their seats on Friday, 377 remain. After a day full of eliminations and the money bubble bursting, all the survivors will return on Saturday for day 5.

The overall chip leader is Manoj Viswanathan, who possess a monster stack of 2.115 million. Other notables near the top of the chip counts include Lars Bonding (1.813 million), Bryan Devonshire (1.365 million), J.P. Kelly (1.332 million), Ben Lamb (1.268 million), Sebastian Ruthenberg (1.162 million), David Bach (1.142 million), and Jean-Robert Bellande (1.134 million).

Last year’s third-place finisher Joseph Cheong is still alive and looking for another deep run. He will resume action with an above-average stack of 862,000. Daniel Negreanu is also still alive with a stack of 619,000.

Notable eliminations from the day include Jeffrey Lisandro, Humberto Brenes, Phil Hellmuth, Jake Cody, Shannon Shorr, Vanessa Rousso, Mike Sowers, and Sandra Naujoks.
