Online Cash Game Specialist Lifts €71,000 At largest UKIPT Ever

Chris O'DonnellBrighton, England hosted the lagest ever PokerStars.com UK & Ireland Poker Tour main event at the weekend with 603 ponying up the £500 buy in (down from €1,000 last year) creating a prize pool of £292,455.

The event was won by online cash game specialist Chris O’Donnell who scooped £71,100 for his victory.

The final hand came after three and half hours play which started with O’Donnell getting heads up with Richard Hasancebi with a seven million to two million chip lead. Hasabcebi pushed with AHeart Suit 7Heart Suit and ran into O’Donnell’s ADiamond Suit KDiamond Suit and it was game over when the board blanked.
