Brighton, England hosted the lagest ever PokerStars.com UK & Ireland Poker Tour main event at the weekend with 603 ponying up the £500 buy in (down from €1,000 last year) creating a prize pool of £292,455.
The event was won by online cash game specialist Chris O’Donnell who scooped £71,100 for his victory.
The final hand came after three and half hours play which started with O’Donnell getting heads up with Richard Hasancebi with a seven million to two million chip lead. Hasabcebi pushed with A 7 and ran into O’Donnell’s A K and it was game over when the board blanked.
