The Bellagio Cup VII $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event came to a close last night at Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament attracted a total of 224 players, which created a prize pool worth $2,272,800. The champion of the tournament is Elio Fox from New York City. He took home the top prize worth $669,692 and a $25,000 seat in the 2012 World Poker Tour Championship, which will also take place at Bellagio. Fox took his career earnings to $1,746,799 with the victory. The win was the seventh of his career but this was his largest cash by far.
The runner up was professional Hafiz Khan, who took home $379,640. The final table of eight who returned on Monday also included William Thorson, Ted Forrest, and Bryn Kenney. You can check out the final-table results below:
