World Poker Tour Dublin Announced

Irish Poker Championship Incorporated Into World Poker Tour With PKR Announced As Sponsor

The World Poker Tour will roll into Dublin, Ireland from January 5 to 8, 2012 for the first time.

The event will be sponsored by PKR.com and will incorporate the €750 buy in Irish Poker Championship which was formerly held in Galway on the west coast of the country.

The €2,500 main event will be held at City West Hotel and is to be held for three years under the cutrent agreement between the organizers.

Simon Prodger, marketing director of PKR said, “We are delighted to partner with the World Poker Tour to bring an event to Ireland for the very first time. Dublin will be a fantastic tour stop and we think the combination of high quality poker and the Irish spirit of fun will draw players from all over the world.”
