Simon Deadman Wins WPT National Dublin Title

Englishman Follows Up Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Victory With Irish Score

Simon Deadman from England has won the PKR World Poker Tour National Dublin main event collecting €67,500 for topping the 238-strong field at Citywest Hotel in the Irish capital.

The main event saw the buy in reduced to €1,200 + €120 from €2,500 last year and generated a prize pool of €285,600 with 100 fewer players taking part in the no-limit hold’em tournament which was re-entry for one day only.

Deadman, who won the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Blackpool main event in November 2012 for £49,290, was among the chip leaders going into day two and fourth in chips when 10 players returned on the final day.

The final table payouts were:
