Publicly quoted gaming operator 32Red saw poker revenue rise 36 percent to £0.6 million in the first half of 2011 from £0.4 million a year earlier.
The company said in its interim statement, “Recent moves by the US authorities to curtail illegal US facing operators are welcomed by the industry, but the overall poker market remains tough.”
32Red saw poker revenue fall five percent 2010 and 7.3 percent in 2009.
Overall the company recorded record revenues for a six month period in the first half of 2011 of £11 million, up 42 percent on 2010.
