The Paradise Poker Tour is pulling out of the Concord Card Casino in Vienna leaving Andreas Zauner of the Czech Republic €24,020 richer as it moves on towards Barcelona for the next event.
Zauner beat 298 players including his final opponent Milan Zaric to become the Tour’s first champion of season three.
The €500 buy-in, €125,000 guaranteed event wrapped up when Zauner, Zaric, and Ferenc Bartha made a deal threehanded, agreeing to a one-handed flip for the trophy.
Bartha was dealt K 8, Zaric turned over 5 4, while Zauner revealed J 3. The board came down J 4 2 2 9 meaning Zauner would take home the trophy and be recognised as the victor of Vienna.
