Americas Cardroom is inviting poker players to go from stuffing their faces with turkey to stuffing their pockets with cash. The online poker site is hosting a special $25,000 guaranteed Thanksgiving Day poker tournament. The tournament is being billed as a warm-up event for Americas Cardroom’s upcoming online poker super series, ACROSS.
The $25k ACROSS warm-up gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. ET. Players can claim a spot in the tournament for $50+5, or they can opt to get into it through a low buy-in qualifier. Satellites are now running from as low as $2.
Any player who participates in the $25,000 Guaranteed warm-up event will also earn an extra 500 points towards this month’s $65,000 Rake Race at Americas Cardroom. All players also qualify for a freeRoll on Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. ET awarding 10-seats to ACROSS Main Event ($82.50 value).
The Americas Cardroom Online Super Series (ACROSS), which runs from Nov. 29 through Dec. 4, features over $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. The series wraps up with a $50,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament.
Designed to appeal to players of all stake levels, ACROSS will feature three major events per day, with prize pools ranging from $250 all the way to $50,000, and buy-ins ranging from $3.30 to $109. Some tournaments will offer Frequent Player Point buy-ins.
Also part of the series are contests that award free tournament seats to the top 10 players to cash in the series; a $1,000 freeroll seat for every player who cashes more than once in the series; and the tournament buy-in will be refunded as an award for each player who finishes a tournament on the bubble.
