Event 10 — $125 No-Limit Hold’em
Event 10 drew 38 players, including former video hostess for the World Poker Tour Jacque Williams. Williams probably picked up something during her time interviewing the world’s greatest tournament players, as she made her first World Series of Poker cash this summer in a $1,500 event, and made a deep run today, eventually busting in fifth place. Williams recouped her buy-in, as a deal was made between the final five to expand the money bubble.
With the remaining players in the money, the rest of the tournament went quickly. The eventual winner of the event was Theron Cook of Hemstead, Texas. For the win he took home $1,456. Here is the complete payout information:
1. Theron Cook — $1,456
2. Clifton King — $971
3. Michael Foley — $485
4. Marc Porter — $324
