Back by popular demand is the The Cheap Seats, the PaddyPowerPoker.com Irish Open qualifier re-buy tournaments which allow players to satellite their way into the main event for just €4.

Twice a day – at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. – players can play the €4 rebuy games and the winners move forward to the bi-monthly Cheap Seats Grand Final which takes place every second Wednesday at 8:30 p.m..

The Cheap Seats gets underway on Wednesday December 28 and run through until the Irish Open in April with seven Grand Finals in total.

Paddy Power, communications manager at the site, said “The Cheap Seats tournaments were very popular with our players last year and we have received many requests to bring the promotion back for the Irish Open 2012. These tournaments really make it possible for the more casual poker player to win a seat into one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in Europe.”

Earlier this week the company announced a mega satellite on New Year’s Day with five Irish Open seats guaranteed.

The Irish Open takes place at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin from April 6 to 9, 2012.
