PokerRoom.com, one of the original online poker operators, is back. The brand, synonymous with the early days of the game on the internet, has been relaunched by the Ongame Network.
The company said, “PokerRoom is proud to announce its return to the world of online poker. We have opened our doors again to real money players. Whether you’re a PokerRoom veteran from the past, or a new player just starting out in poker, we look forward to welcoming you at our tables.”
PokerRoom shut in 2009.
Elsewhere Belgium has a new operator in the form of GoldenPalace.be, an online poker and casino portal licensed by the Belgian government.
In France Unibet has re-entered the market with the purchase of EuroSportBet.com. Visitors to the site are now redirected to Unibet.fr.
Unibet withdrew from the French market ahead of regulation and this move marks its return.
