Nevada-based slot and gaming manufacturer International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that the recently acquired Entraction will be renamed the IGT Poker Network.

IGT acquired the Swedish online poker network last March for $115 million in an effort to favorably position the company for a potentially licensed and regulated online gaming market. In September, the company announced that it would no longer offer online poker to citizens of Canada, Russia, Norway, Israel and Turkey in order to comply with each country’s various gaming laws.

The company has applied for an operating license in Nevada and appears ready to claim a major share of the online gaming market. IGT plans to add to its stable of online poker rooms by flaunting their rejuvenated network in London’s ICE online gaming expo.

“This is the first show where we will be able to demonstrate the full range of products and services which our recent acquisition of Entraction has enabled us to do,” said a company press release. “All Entraction products will be shown under the IGT brand [and] conference attendees will see how IGT’s poker network is a serious and competitive alternative for existing poker operators.”

IGT has over 5,000 employees and has an annual revenue of almost $2 billion.
