The real hero of the World Series of Poker main event just entered the Amazon Room.

"Let's have a warm round of applause for the money," said floor announcer Jack Effel.

And everyone did.

The $12 million covered an entire table next to the players. The money was carried by some of the biggest security guards in the land, in suitcases that were opened and dumped on the table.

People in the crowd strained over each other to get a peak at the massive amount of cash.

If the winner wants, he could take all that money with him. He might have to hire the guards to carry the cash for him just because of how much there is.

Whoever wins will probably have the Rio cut a fat check.
